Dog House

A couple of weeks ago our friend Kris calls and says he has the perfect dog house for Chrome. He is a realtor and manages some rental properties for people and this dog house was left behind. So we take the Mazda to go pick it up and we get there and this thing is huge. It took forever to even get it out of the backyard and we load it in the back and it barely fit. As we drove home Hadlie says, "Boy are we rednecks!" That was the truth. Well we decided it was way to big for Chrome, Hadlie could stand up inside it. So we have some other friends that have two really big dogs, so we took it up to them in the evening. Well, the wind had really started up and so we are on 2000 in front of Smith and Edwards driving against the wind and all of the sudden we hear this bump and we look back and the dog house which by the way probably weighs over 200 pounds is rolling out of the back of the mazda and skids about thirty feet on its roof on the road. Luckily no one was behind us. This thing would have really damaged a car. I said lets leave it on the side of the road, but we got it back in the truck and went home and tied it in. Who would have thought it would blow out. Crazy, but we could only go about forty miles an hour cuz of the wind.
