Four Wheelers

Saturday morning we decided to ride four wheelers into the cabin. And what a beautiful day it was for us. There was still a lot of snow on the south side of where we started and the further north it got the more dried out the road was, but as we were going across the flats the snow was melting so fast. It was a huge river going down the road. We come upon some idiots that decided they would try to drive across it and were high centered, so needless to say they were pretty excited to us. They had been there for eight hours so they must came in the night. They hurried out of their SUV and the water and snow was up to their knees, and the one dude we'll call him the hippy and he had no shoes or socks on and his feet were bright red. Spank told them if you want help then you hook us up to ya, cuz we are not getting off our four wheelers and getting all wet. So we hooked the suv up to our four wheeler and then our four wheeler to Spank's brother in law's four wheeler and we started pulling them out. They were in reverse so they were going backwards and they got traction and was not paying attention and backed up right into us. So it gave me a little bit of whiplash and it dented their bumper. I wish we would have had our camera out to take pics of this. Finally we pulled them all the way out to the dry land and off they went and their car was making all kinds of noises. But we had lots of fun. Can't wait to go again.

A tree fell some time during the winter on Grandpa Ellis' cabin

So we chopped it down before it did more damage

Hadlie was really tired so she took a little snooze in the cabin. Nothing better than a nap at the cabin.
