Summer Fun

Hadlie's graduated from her first year at preschool in May and she sure enjoyed Appleseed Academy. She was originally enrolled in a preschool named Edge, but at the Christmas program they annouced that was the last day and was shutting down because they weren't making any money. I was really upset because Hadlie had just started going without crying and now we had to start all over. But we are able to get her into Appleseed and Teacher Misty was awesome. Hadlie loved her and her class. She was really cute in the program. I couldn't believe how much she knew. She had learned and memorized the Pledge of Allegiance, Grand old flag, and Leap Frog ABC song. It was awesome. Grandma Marlene, Aunt Kamille, Uncle Chase, and Aunt Shenel came. Grandpa Pete and Grandma Nancy were unable to come because they were celebrating their birthdays in San Diego.

Here are some pics of the things we have done this summer. We rode the front runner down to the Gateway in June and seen the sidewalk drawings and ate dinner. And of course Hadlie had to play in the fountain. It was a lot of fun on the way down there was an older couple sitting across from us and then on the way home they sat in front of us and so we talked for a minute and come to find out they lived up the street from us. What a small world!

Also in June Spanks best friend Josh and his wife and two kids came to visit. They were in the transition from moving from San Diego to Oklahoma. So we got to spend a couple of days with them. And boy all it did was just remind us how much we miss them. But Claire and Hadlie had so much fun playing dress up and everything else girls do. Hadlie didn't want them to leave and neither did we.
